Here is a link to a team building activity that you can put together in no time.  It has a good message about collaboration.  http://www.teachmeteamwork.com/teachmeteamwork/2007/11/teambuilding--1.html I've often wondered why teams automatically compete with one another.  I think it has a lot to do with our cultural conditioning.  From an early age we watch athletes fiercely compete with one another.  Also, in school we're not taught to collaborate.  Rather we are encouraged to be independent of our classmates.  Getting into college/university is also a competitive situation.  Yet with all this training to be competitive, in today's workplace we are asked to collaborate, share resources and work as a team.  Maybe this conditioned competitiveness is what make it at times seem so difficult to collaborate.
